This, is a special post. Its about a special person, a dear friend, who has gone through an unbelievably arduous and trying journey: fighting cancer.
Now cancer free, and going through radiation treatment, my friend LISA POLITO, is organizing a fund-raiser for the Lymphoma Foundation.
“I try to be a resource of information. I write about my feelings and my thoughts in hopes that, I too, will get something from my own writings after reading it, over and over. ”
I’ve had the opportunity to work with her, and to contribute a little to her cause. She has started a blog, where she is generously sharing insights of her experience. She now has a site, where you can read info on her fund-raising plans. Please, take a minute to read up on all this, and pencil in this next event in your calendars:

sooo, there is this thing called shopdropping.
and she told us about it.
its great, really it is.
its easy, and important, and fun too.
but dont take our word for it, give it a shot.and send us your photos.
Seriously, so this shopdrop thing… its the kind of thing we could describe in a few lines, and it might sound something like “alter your visual environment by modifying consumption goods, or anything really. go in a store, and instead of leaving with something, drop something off: an idea, and edit, a new label, etc” . But we could also go on and on about all the great ways shopdroping can be interpreted and applied. Check out these pics, see for yourself. And go out there drop in your shop!

So, Dan and I just completed the new BONJOUR BRUMAIRE music video for the song BROOKLYN! Keep your eyes opened for the premiere on MUSIQUEPLUS in the coming weeks and thank you to everyone who worked so hard on the video! our very own Dan Popa, has spent a week at the USINE C, as part of a residency, a work in progess, a “chantier” : the FESTIVAL TEMPS D’IMAGES… with his buddy and collaborator Jérôme Minière, working on a project called “AUTO-PLAYBACK”
In this project that proposes to exhibit the magic of playback, Jérôme Minière and Dan Popa question the way in which electronic arrangements and pre-recorded tracks can be integrated into a live performance.
