Hey everyone, I just finished a VERY short film entitled PICK A SKY and it’s going to be screened tomorrow night at the 5 Year anniversary (MARDI 31 MARS 8PM at MOMENT FACTORY 6250 Hutchison 200). If you get a minute (hah) then you should come check it out. There’s gonna be tons of other great films screening as well so come on down! Hey everyone, as some of you may already know I’ve been working on a documentary project about Canadian graffiti writer KOMA. I’ve screened a couple of one minute teasers at minute moments screenings and I’d like to share them with yall too…so click on the images below to link to the videos and let me know what you think! So Dan Popa’s film had it’s International premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival this past September and it was a hit! We still can’t believe that we got to see his film projected on 35mm on the huge screen at the AMC theater and we’re terribly happy that everyone came out to see it among the SHORT CUTS CANADA program. Some of our other favorites among this program were by Karl Lemieux, by Marie Josée Saint-Pierre and by JAMIE M. DAGG.

So the 24KARROTS team just got back from Toronto where we premiered our Nepalese documentary and it was a success! Thanks to MEG FOX and her wonderful team we were able to participate in this beautiful Gala showcasing young musicians, painters and photographers. Our film was well received and we were glad to get some good feedback from those who attended the event. Keep your eyes and ears open for the Montreal premiere of BEYOND THE VALLEY which should happen in the near future. Until then, here are some photos from the Gala night…Enjoy!
An Outdoor Screening in CHinatown, what!
So we should have written about this sooner… but… the pictures we far far away, saved on my digital camcam, and totally out of my lazy reach.
These are a few photos of a screening organized by (the kind folks at ). Participants had a weekend to shoot a short short film, edit and screen it too. The initial inspiration of
each film was given to them via a fortune cookie, and the whole thing had to be shot in Chinatown, where it was later screened.
