AISTE Z’s temporary site is up!
its a start, there is still a proper design to be completed and implemented, but i think its not bad for a temp site!
check it out, and contact her to find out where you can get your very own Aiste Z pieces!
OOooopppaa! its the 14th already. this month has been insane! All sorts of deadlines for 24K, all sorts of events and launches and screenings!
So to make up for our 2 week tardiness on the sept calendar, we’ve prepared a combo: September + October !!
Both calendars feature illustrations by Robby Reis, check out the originals here and here…
DOWNLOAD the calendars HERE | September and HERE | October, or drop us a line here in the comments and we will gladly email you your very own desktop calendar!
Next date to remember: Reis’Pieces Art show, at SNAP! artwork by Natalie Reis & Robby Reis. More info soon…
and it’s raining mucho and its humid and where’s my tan and… but we are getting so much work done!!!
Here is a little calendar, for your desktop background.
This month, the illustration is by natalie reis, and the stationary and ikat print scarf used are bits and piece of things that lie around my desk…
You can download it here, at the biggest size flickr allows, but we got at 1440 x 900, so you know the drill: if anyone want, just let us know and we will be happy to email it over!
can you say attention! O-M-G!!!
our collaborative project with Article’s Luce Beaulieu, i.e. the lady behind Posch, is getting plenty of attention… all the hard work (and most def, not just OUR hard work… there is a long list of people to thank, but thankfully Luce has already taken care of that!) is paying off!
so a little bragging, cause we like bragging: three flyers, from the three fashion shows (below). two have past, and there is one left… this friday! yay! its part of the Festival Mode & Design in down-town montreal!
thanks Luce, for taking such good care of your blog, it makes it so much easier for us! at this rate, you’ll hit the half million hits as soon as all our friends read this post!
c’est le temps des vernissages! this time, last year, we were burnt, exhausted, soooo over the school thing, and eager to participate in world changing, garde A design!….
12 months later, nothing has changed!
so, run to H&M, put together the designiest outfit ever, throw on a pair of vintage shoes, and show up fashionably late but in time for free wine, to the following vernissages:
/// UQAM // LES ROOKIES DU DESIGN GRAPHIQUE
april 25th // 18H // 1440 sanguinet
** they thought they could excape the vernissage schedule conflict hmm? well i guess they didnt realize the PCD’s finale was on the same night!
we’ve been on a little trip down Narcissus Lane lately… organizing photo shoots, putting our faces on big screens for performances, loading up our flickr accounts with more pics of us than pics of what we do…! No harm done though, we aren’t that infatuated by ourselves, but we do make for cheap self employed models!
maybe we should put film and dzine a side a little, and start a band, and a myspace page, with tuns of pics of us and tuns of super famous [friend] underground musicians and djs and fire spitting people and indie label wanna be owners and tattoo artist and stand up comics, and ipod battle referees and 14year old suburban emo kids and and and ….!
so one last (ah ah ah as if) pic collection of US!
I went back to my car and found that I had a flat tire. Since my studio is in a pretty shady part of town, I figured maybe someone fucked with the tire. I left a note jut in case that was what happened.
