24K quote of the day! November 28, 2006
“arguing about kids with bobby, is like arguing about msn with dan”
“arguing about kids with bobby, is like arguing about msn with dan”
by now, you probably already know what 2.0 means… hell, everything’s going 2.0 these days!
The latest (and greatest) find would be the user-funded and semi-user-influenced movie which is in its phase 2 (out of 5 phases) of completion. The vision of the project’s founders might seems utopic, but sure could be achieve with this new mode of collaboration that this web2.0 thing brought to life:
Our vision is to bring filmmaker and fan together into entertainment communities making distinctive films based on artistic choices not marketing ones. This is not about making a couple of bucks, but about making cinematic history.
This mode of collaboration is pretty straight forward: you pay 50 bux and you get access to the forums where you can vote and request modifications on the script, use your expertise to help the crew film it and distribute it and lastly, you can share the movie or remix it at your free will and distribute it on the web.
A new type of collaboration
Here’s some new paintings that I started on the inside covers of kids books, let me know what you think, I think they need to be pushed further somehow…

So I’ve been back for a few weeks now, and it feels great to work next to my fellow KARROTS again! The life of a roadie is a good one, but all good things must end! Here’s some POLAROIDS from the tour, thanks again to all the great people who let us sleep on their couches, eat their food and scare their girlfriends!
Also, check out the band’s page and let me know what you think of the music:
Stay tuned for some of my 35mm photos and video excerpts of the Grey’s European tour!
